Just the wacky nature of Cowabunga’s theme ---- surfing cattle ---- is enough to make you grin from ear to ear! But playing the game will leave you breathless with excitement, as you play number cards (illustrated with colorful cartoon surfing cows and marine life) to raise or lower the water level. You can count on the tide constantly changing ---- too high, the water level starts to drop; too low, it starts to rise ---- and with every tide change, somebody gets an obstacle card. It’s your job to avoid wiping out on another player’s obstacle, because the winner is the player with the fewest wipeouts ---- the “Big Cow-huna!” Invented by Reinhard Staupe, Cowabunga includes 58 wave cards, 21 obstacle cards, 17 cows and instructions in English, Spanish, and French.
